Brunswick water polo blasts Canterbury School, 17-0

The Brunswick School water polo team had a Homecoming match to remember.

Hosting Canterbury School at the Greenwich YMCA, the Bruins dominated from start to finish and came away with the 17-0 victory earlier today.

Pat Stefanou finished with a game-high five goals, while Alex Prout and Grant Pierce finished with two goals apiece. Julian Ronda, Tommy Tranfo, Will Marvin, Jack Muccia, Matt Marvin, Emmet McElwreath and Sandro Mariani each finished with one goal.

In net, Charlie Pang started and made one save. James Granruth finished the game and finished with three saves.

With the victory, Brunswick upped its overall record to 14-3. The Bruins will be back in action Wednesday when they travel to New Haven and battle Hopkins School.
