Brunswick crew gearing up for Head of the Charles with Housatonic regatta

The Brunswick School crew had its final tune-up before next weekend’s Head of the Charles during Sunday’s Head of the Housatonic River regatta.

The Varsity-8 boat remained undefeated on the fall season, as they pace the field by over 10 seconds to win gold, yet again, during Sunday’s regatta. The Bruins bested 28 other crews, including schools such as Chaminade and St. Anthony’s from Long Island, as well as clubs from Westport and Saugatuck.

Out of 85 crews that will be in action during next weekend’s Head of the Charles, Brunswick will be starting seventh overall.

In Brunswick’s Varsity-8 boat will be junior coxswain Nikhil Rajan, sophomore stroke Will Bass, seniors Max and Alex Skolds, sophomore Will Powers, junior Conor Winson, junior Jack Duggan, sophomore Alexander Kutner and senior bowman Lukas Jenkins.
