Brunswick School football routs Trinity Pawling 44-14 [SLIDESHOW]

The Brunswick School football team upped it overall record to an impressive 3-1 on the season with a 44-14 victory over Trinity Pawling School Friday night at Cosby Field.

A plethora of Bruins found the end zone against the Pride, as six athletes notched points on the board. Leading the way was quarterback Billy O’Malley, who finished just over 300 yards on the day, threw for two touchdowns and ran for an 11-yard touchdown to start the scoring in the game and a 2-yard scamper to give the Bruins the lead for good.

In addition to O’Malley’s strong showing, Brunswick dominated play the rest of the way, only giving up a touchdown to the Pride late in the fourth quarter. For Brunswick, Henry Taylor scored on a 59-yard touchdown reception and Charlie Cobb found the end zone on a 2-yard touchdown reception.

In addition to O’Malley’s two touchdown runs, the Bruins added two more rushing scores. JD Donahey found the end zone on a 10-yard rush and Malik Wilder scored on the 2-yard touchdown run.

Frankie Agrest rounded out the scoring with a field goal in the fourth quarter.
