‘Cake Boss’ bakery to open

Ready to tell your sweet tooth who’s boss? You’ll soon get your opportunity as Carlo’s Bakery, the setting of the hit TLC series Cake Boss has announced it will open a fourth location in Greenwich later this year.

Carlo’s currently has three other locations — its flagship bakery in Hoboken, N.J., its second location in Ridgewood, N.J. as well as a third location currently under construction in Westfield, N.J.

“Greenwich is a great town with an amazing downtown and the entire Carlo’s family is looking forward to joining the community,” said Buddy Valastro, owner of Carlo’s Bakery, also known as the Cake Boss. “This will be the first Carlo’s Bakery outside of New Jersey; it’s a very exciting expansion.”

Carlo’s Bakery Greenwich, as it will be formally known, will offer all of the classics that Carlo’s Bakery is known for and will also house a Party Room, first introduced in Carlo’s Bakery Ridgewood, accommodating all types of celebrations from birthday parties to baby showers.

“We had such a great experience with the Party Room in Ridgewood, I knew I wanted to bring one to Carlo’s Bakery Greenwich,” Mr. Valastro said. “It’s all about bringing family and friends together for a fun celebration.”

The bakery, which spans 3,400 square feet, will be located at 20 East Elm Street, right behind Greenwich Avenue and next to Urban Outfitters.
