gl-divinity-lecture-10-10Explore the development of faith leaders for the 21st Century on Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. when Gregory E. Sterling, Dean of Yale Divinity School, will speak at the Round Hill Community Church.

Dr. Sterling’s lecture will touch on questions such as, “What is the role of divinity schools such as Yale in bolstering and guiding religious audiences of today toward the future, given the critical issues of economic justice in America, growing poverty, increased polarity of political views, dysfunctional decision making and a transitioning international identity?”

He will also address where the role of laity fits into this picture.

The church encourages members of the public to lend their voices to this discussion. There will be a reception immediately following the lecture in the Church Parlor. The event is free.
