Dreams come alive at local exhibition

Discover the dream world of artist Mindy Green, whose exhibition, Painted Dreams, will showcase 35 abstract paintings, spanning a 10 year period, now through Nov. 5 at Bistro Latino.

Ms. Green is an expressive, original artist who digs deep into her imagination for inspiration.

“I close my eyes and see paintings: colors, shapes, symbols,” Ms. Green said. “My job as an artist is to dig them out from the deep place within and reveal their mystery.”

The artist began her career 25 years ago as a portrait artist. Her work is included in private and corporate collections worldwide and she is an art and art as therapy educator. Ms. Green has worked with all ages and special populations for more than 20 years, establishing her Rowayton studio, artGARAGE, in 2004. In 2011 she became a professional energy medicine therapist, certified through the Healing Touch Program.

“I bring my spirit, dedication, and creativity to each of my endeavors,” Ms. Green said.
