A temporary bridge that takes the place of the Riversville Road Bridge is up and running as of Sept. 23 and traffic will be shifted to the west as a result.

The traveling public should exercise caution while traveling in the vicinity of the project to accommodate for the lane shift. The new bridge is scheduled to be completed by July 2014.

This project was designed by Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. of Hamden. The construction will be performed by NJR Construction, LLC of Terryville. The construction contract for the project is for $1,962,566.25.
