Brunswick water polo remains perfect with 16-10 victory over Horace Mann

The Brunswick School water polo team kept the good times going earlier today in the YMCA of Greenwich pool, as they took care of Horace Mann, 16-10.

Pat Stefanou led the way for the Bruins with seven goals and Matt Marvin wasn’t far behind, finishing with five goals. Julian Ronda added two goals and Will Marvin and Simon Derby finished with one goal each.

Charlie Pang finished strong in net for Brunswick and netted 11 saves.

“It was a solid team effort, led by Pat Stefanou and Matt Marvin,” Brunswick head coach Eric Tillman said. “The passing game was sharp, which was great to see. We were moving the ball nicely in the offensive end of the pool and Charlie Pang was on his game in net. He stopped a couple of point-blank shots today.”

With the victory, Brunswick improved to a perfect 6-0 on the season and will be back in action Friday when they travel to Suffield Academy and battle both Suffield and Loomis Chaffee School.
