Greenwich Parks & Rec. announces Tennis for Tots will start Nov. 4

The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that Tennis for Tots will begin its fall indoor session at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Mondays for six weeks, starting Nov. 4.

The program for children 3- and 4-years-old will run from 2:45 to 3:15 p.m., or 3:15 to 3:45 p.m..  The 5-, 6- and 7-year-old program will be from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m., 4:30 to 5:15 p.m., or 5:15 to 6 p.m..

The cost is $85 for the 3- and 4-year-olds and $95 for the 5- to 7-year-old programs.

Pat Cianciulli, who has been the director of the town’s tennis program for five years, will teach the program. He also teaches at various private clubs in Greenwich and has worked at the U.S. Open. Cianciulli has also taken the latest workshops with the USPTR.

The course will be held in the Bendheim Western Civic Center gym and tennis rackets will be provided. Registration will begin Monday, Oct. 7  to Oct. 11 by mail only. Walk-in registration will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
