Small business marketing workshop set, begins Sept. 24

computerIf you’re a small business owner looking for marketing tips you won’t want to miss a seven-part workshop series sponsored by SCORE Fairfield County and the Greenwich Library.

The first workshop of the series, Making Branding Work, will take place Sept. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. with check-in starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Greenwich Library Cole Auditorium. The course will focus on Internet marketing for small businesses and how to build an effective Internet presence.

“It will also help de-mystify branding and show participants how to create, revive and rescue a small business brand identity and use it to develop an Internet marketing roadmap that will guide a company’s website, content marketing, email marketing, social media, blog, direct marketing, networking and advertising efforts,” SCORE said.

Presenters include Jodi Meryl Wallace, president of JMW & Company, and Jeff Seaver, moderator and co-presenter, and owner of Seaver Interactive.
