‘Fun Day’ planned for prospective Cub Scouts

Calling all boys who want to have some fun in the great outdoors. The 2013 Greenwich Cub Fun Day will take place Saturday, Sept. 21 at Camp Seton and all boys, grades first through fifth, are invited to attend.

Activities will range from climbing the bouldering wall to shooting archery and BBs, along with a visit from the local fire department and a Scout craft project. Come see how Cub Scouting offers exciting activities while helping build lifelong friends, unforgettable memories and offering important lessons in teamwork and “doing your best.”

From 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. stop by to learn more about Cub Scouting in Greenwich. Enjoy lunch from 11:30 a.m. to noon and the Cub Fun Day activities will take place from noon to 2 p.m. This event will take place rain or shine and is free, but pre-registration is required at GreenwichScouting.org.
