Sacred Heart soccer blitzes Taft School, 5-1

The Convent of the Sacred Heart soccer team had little trouble against Taft School earlier today, coming away with the 5-1 victory.

The Tigers scored the first five goals of the contest, netting four of its goals in the second half. Kaitlyn Adimini, a sophomore, scored two goals, as did fellow sophomore Tracey Hagan. Freshman Delaney Colaio scored the other goal for CSH.

In net, Charlotte Clark, a freshman, made five saves for Sacred Heart. Taft’s Becky Dutton made six saves in the losing effort. Sacred Heart finished the game with 15 shots on goal, while Taft added 11.

Sacred Heart is back in action tomorrow when they travel up to Newton, Mass. and battle Newton Country Day School as part of the sixth annual Heart Connection.
