Dining for a cause

You can support social justice and have a bite to eat while you’re at it at St. Catherine of Siena Church’s Dinner with a Cause on Sept. 19.

This annual dinner is designed to provide good food while also introducing people to area organizations that are supporting the principles of social justice.

This session of the Dinner with a Cause series will highlight the work of Inspirica (formerly St. Luke’s Life Works) on Thursday, Sept. 19, at which time attendees will learn about this mission and the opportunities to get involved.

Kelly Leather, the director of volunteer services, will lead the discussion. A simple supper will be provided at 6:30 p.m. in the Church Hall. RSVP to [email protected] if you wish to come for supper. A $10 donation will be collected at the door for the dinner.

Proceeds will go to Inspirica.

Call 203-637-3661 if you would like to help with the meal. The presentation will begin at 7:15 p.m. and will end by 8. There is no fee.
