Attend program and to thine own self be true

Do you love Shakespeare? Hate Shakespeare? Do you wonder who is Shakespeare?

If any of these questions appeal to you, then come to The Bard At Banksville. Free and open to all, this newly established Banksville Community House program is a chance to explore the works of the world’s best-known and most beloved playwright.

Each class will focus on a different play. Absolutely no experience or background knowledge is required. Come and learn about three of Shakespeare’s most popular plays:  A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo & Juliet and Twelfth Night. Participants will read scenes, discuss the historical context of the plays and can even try a bit of acting.

Classes will meet Sept. 12, 19 and 26 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Banksville Community House, 12 Banksville Road.

Classes are free and open to the public and will be facilitated by Rocco Natale.
