Hospital employee recognized in healthcare management

Greenwich Hospital’s Nancy Levitt-Rosenthal was recently recognized for excellence in healthcare management as the recipient of this year’s Senior Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award.

The award, given by the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), was presented at the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives (CTAHE) annual meeting on June 25.

Each year, CTAHE recognizes an individual who exemplifies leadership, lifelong learning, integrity and the advancement of healthcare management excellence throughout his or her career. Ms. Levitt-Rosenthal is the senior vice president for Health Systems Development at Greenwich Hospital and vice president of Strategy and Regulatory Planning, for the Yale New Haven Health System. She recently concluded her tenure as president of CTAHE.

ACHE is an international professional society of more than 40,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations. ACHE offers the prestigious FACHE credential, signifying board certification in healthcare management.
