Fairytale program expected to be a ‘ball’

By royal proclamation, calling all princesses, knights and princes to the Greenwich Library Fairytale Royal Ball.

We’ve all heard dozens of fairytale endings, but where do those fairytales begin? The answers can be found at Greenwich Library on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. when Fairytale Beginnings will present a program for children four to 10 years old. Participants are invited to attend the Royal Ball dressed in royal attire as a prince, princess or knight.

Enjoy stories, games, refreshments and a craft presented by a princess.

Event attendance is limited to 25 children. Registration is required and began Sept. 3. Call the Children’s Room at 203-622-7940 to register.

The library’s regular storytimes for children begins the week of Sept. 9. For a complete listing of upcoming events and programs, visit Greenwichlibrary.org/children.
