Four star review for SoNo Baking Company

It might not be here in Greenwich, but anyone looking for great food, it’s an easy trip to Norwalk to get to the SoNo Baking Company.

The SoNo Baking Company was founded in 1904 in Brooklyn, N.Y. It has a long history of making food and you can tell that when you eat their food.

The SoNo Baking Company is a fantastic place to go, whether getting a small tart or a large cake. The service is great. The staff workers take your order quickly and easily and provide good and quick service.

The exterior of the restaurant is slightly dull, but the interior is the exact opposite. The displays of pastries and cake look great, and the tables are placed well. They also have a place to get plastic silverware and straws.

The tables sit four or two people. This is ideal for most families or if you are alone. Also, when you walk in there are large square glass windows that allow you to see into the kitchen. It’s nice because it allows you to see what is going on. There is not a large variety of drinks on display, only a few sodas and smoothies, but the smoothies are great tasting and great for you.

The food itself is fantastic. Their rich, chocolate mousse or their mild tarts and sweet pastries all make your mouth water. Their chocolate mousse, which I tried, was completely fantastic.

The rich chocolate mousse came with a fresh raspberry on top. My sister had a chocolate cupcake, which she devoured in about ten seconds. My brother got a small red velvet cupcake, which he said was delicious. Their large variety of foods make it so hard to choose what to get. It took me a good five minutes of staring at foods and reconsidering before I finally reached my decision.

The SoNo Baking Company is spectacular. I recommend you and your family go whenever you are craving a pastry or need some quality dessert. My rating: 4.5 Stars.

The SoNo Baking Company is at 101 Water Street in South Norwalk.
