Level Up Village, a Greenwich-based after-school company providing classes for students in math and other subjects, recently sponsored a workshop on the district’s new math curriculum for 15+ Greenwich area teachers.

Led by Allison Moran, a math specialist and trainer from Westport, the free workshop was designed to help the Greenwich Public Schools ease its 2013-2014 district-wide transition into the new Math in Focus curriculum.

Ms. Moran provided a wealth of knowledge, tips and games that can be used in elementary school classrooms — areas which will not be addressed in the upcoming Greenwich Public Schools teacher training.

Recordings of the session and other resources for parents and teachers can be found at levelupvillage.com.
