Town resident Sean Day will be driving Gatsby style this summer after being named the lucky winner of Family Centers’ “Gatsby on the Sound” 1951 MG-TD convertible raffle.

Donated by the late Stig Host, a dedicated supporter of Family Centers and its work in the community, the car features the original 1250-cc four cylinder engine, leather interior and four-speed transmission. Before his death, Mr. Host remarked how delighted he was that his “small treasured roadster would help such a great cause.”

The MG also holds a special significance to Mr. Day, as he was a longtime friend and business associate of Mr. Host.

The raffle raised nearly $50,000, which will support Family Centers’ health, human service and education programs that serve more than 25,000 Fairfield County residents.
