Novakowski won’t be getting this resident’s vote in November

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor

In a letter in the Post’s Aug. 15 edition, Rick Novakowski said the following: “Last month I received the unanimous endorsement from the Greenwich Democratic Party to be the candidate for tax collector this November.”

May I be so bold to suggest that “the Democratic Party” can do much better in finding a more qualified candidate?

Mr. Novakowski’s ‘letters to the editor’ tell us all that he shows “little respect” for those who do their very best to serve our town and its citizens. Yes, “cheap shots” are alive and well when it comes to Mr. Novakowski’s “letters to the editor.”

Will Mr. Novakowski receive my vote?

The answer to that is a resounding ‘No!”

One’s “reputation” and “character” should tell “the Democratic Party” to reconsider their endorsement of Mr. Novakowski and look for a much better candidate. I look forward to placing my vote for the incumbent tax collector, Mr. Tod Laudonia.

Tod is a really “good man” and — yes — a man with “good character.” Thank you for your service to our great “town of Greenwich” Mr. Laudonia. You deserve to be re-elected.

You have been very “respectful” to “the town citizens” and most of us “appreciate your kindness.”
