Sidewalk Sales return to Avenue

The Greenwich Chamber of Commerce is ready to put a little pep in your step with the return of the highly anticipated 2013 Greenwich Sidewalk Sale Days, beginning tomorrow, July 11, and lasting through July 14 on Greenwich Avenue.

At this popular annual event, shoppers flock to the avenue and nearby streets in downtown Greenwich, an area known for its variety of fine stores and boutiques, to find savings and values on clothing, jewelry, shoes, gifts and more from participating retailers and businesses.

On Saturday and Sunday, shoppers will enjoy live music by local musicians and dancing by Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich. Face painting, balloons and photographers will be on hand to entertain children. Also available to enjoy is tasty fare from participating restaurants, including Douro, Pinkberry, Pasta Vera and Morello Italian Bistro.

Bargains and not-to-be-missed items will be for sale from a wide range of favorite retailers, such as Vineyard Vines, Saks, J. Crew, Everything But Water, Theory, Steven Alan, Rinfret Home & Garden and more.

“We hope everyone will come to downtown Greenwich during these four special days and support local businesses,” said Marcia O’Kane, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a perfect time to shop for great deals and enjoy outdoor music and entertainment.”

Sidewalk Sale Days will take place July 11 through July 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
