Professional actress to lead intensive acting program

Ever since Annie took Broadway by storm, local children and parents have been buzzing about the show and reminiscing about the story.

In keeping up with the excitement, Camp Gan Israel of Greenwich is offering an intensive theater program this summer that will culminate in a performance of Annie The Orphan. Actress Krissy Dorn will spearhead the program. Ms. Dorn is a professional actress and has performed in productions throughout the region. She has numerous credits in film, TV and stage. Ms. Dorn is also a professional storyteller and is co-founder of Stories Unplugged. She is passionate about spiritual and creative growth in children and, “loves watching their imaginations come to life with the magic of theater.” She will run an acting course that challenges serious actors and welcomes all beginners. This is Camp Gan Israel’s first ever Acting Intensive week. The program will focus on technique and skill — all from July 29 to Aug. 2.
