Innerspace sponsors Relay for Life

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Greenwich held June 14 at Brunswick School’s King Street campus was a resounding success, ultimately raising $139,000.

The event began at 6 p.m. with a survivor reception followed by opening ceremonies with welcoming remarks and a survivor lap to kick off the relay. The event continued until 7 a.m. the next morning with teams walking throughout the night.

Fifty-five teams were present, totaling just more than 500 participants.

Innerspace Electronics, Inc. was honored to be a participant and sponsor.

“Cancer is a disease that, unfortunately, has touched too many people. We decided as a group that this was something we wanted to get involved in and then it was just a matter of picking which relay to sponsor,” said Gina Romanello, Relay for Life coordinator at Innerspace Electronics.
