On June 29: Historical Society prepares to dine al fresco

Ready for a ‘Festa al Fresco’? Join the Greenwich Historical Society as it celebrates the culmination of its current exhibition, From Italy to America, with an Italian-themed potluck supper on June 29.

Guests are asked to bring their favorite family dish to share in one of four categories — antipasti/appetizers, pasta/main dish, sides/salads and desserts, preparing one dish per family with enough to serve 10 to 12 people. The gallery will be open for a last look at From Italy to America, and there will be music, activities for kids and some of the best home-cooked Italian food this side of the Atlantic, organizers said.

Festa al Fresco will take place at the Bush-Holley Historic Site, 39 Strickland Road, on Saturday, June 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, June 30.

Reservations are required. Attendees are asked to indicate what they would like to bring when making reservations. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids six to 12-years-old and kids under six are free. Wine and other beverages are included in the price of admission.

To reserve a space, visit Greenwichhistory.org or call 203-869-6899, ext. 10.
