Women’s empowerment coach to hold book reading

Greenwich Library is preparing to join forces with Ladies Who Launch and Greenwich lifestyle brand The Greenwich Girl to host a book reading by leading women’s empowerment coach, speaker and TV guest expert Allyson Spellman on June 27.

Ms. Spellman will be reading from her book 40 Days of Voice Redemption: A Daily Devotional for Women to Unleash Their Authentic Truth. The author will also share how women can uncover and celebrate their authentic voice, purpose and potential.

Through spiritual, thought-provoking and inspiring self-reflection during this speaking engagement, women will gain a deeper knowledge of one’s true self, organizers said.

According to Kathy McShane, managing director of Ladies Who Launch, “This inspiring event is a special way to bring women together to hear Allyson’s empowering story and get a real taste of her wisdom and guidance.”

Ms. Spellman was previously an actress, entertainment producer and casting director who worked in various capacities for TV, film and Broadway.

She is currently the CEO & founder of Unleash Your Voice. She has coached hundreds of women to stop settling for less and start living without limits. Through the Unleash Your Voice brand, Ms. Spellman has developed programs, workshops and tools designed for women to “uncover their authentic voice and reclaim their true identity.”

Ladies Who Launch of Southwestern CT has a growing membership of more than 300 women who already take advantage of its numerous resources to help develop new businesses and grow existing businesses.

The Greenwich Girl, created by Greenwich native Laura McKittrick, is a lifestyle brand that gives the inside scoop on all things Greenwich. Transformed from what was initially just a ‘blog’ to a lifestyle brand, The Greenwich Girl “represents an unmatched perspective” organizers said.
