DeLuca’s counsel is healing and uplifting

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor

There are times in life that require compassion and where just a few words from another human being can transport us to a gentler place.

In Greenwich we receive positive and uplifting counsel in various forms.

One individual in particular ministers in a most profound way, uplifting the spirits of hospital and nursing home residents and staff. This man is Father Stephen DeLuca.

I call the community’s attention to Fr. DeLuca because he has consistently and tirelessly brought the kind of healing to patients and residents for years and because his unique generous approach to people ought to be recognized.

Just a few moments with Fr. DeLuca in prayer offers peace and light in the most difficult of circumstances. It is my belief that we are blessed to receive this necessary concern at our care facilities and I am particularly glad that we are served by a chaplaincy that offers wonderful spiritual guidance.

I want to say thank you to Fr. DeLuca.
