Greenwich head coach Terry Lowe has six athletes named All-Americans

Greenwich High School boys water polo and boys swimming and diving head coach Terry Lowe has a bunch of talented athletes reach All-American status by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association.

For the GHS diving team, junior Jeff Aselin and Andrew Bologna were named to the All-American 1-meter diving team. The Greenwich duo are the top two athletes from the Northeast honored with the status.

In addition to the duo of Aselin and Bologna, the state of Connecticut had a few other divers named to the All-American team, as Fairfield Prep junior Jake Bowtell, Westhill High’s Sean Burston, Darien High’s Robert Christensen, Glastonbury High’s Samuel Hoyt and New Canaan High’s Bobby Ross were also honored.

The Greenwich High School boys water polo team had four athletes named to the Zone One All-American team. Getting 1st Team All-American honors was senior Matthew Fraser, while his brother Julian Fraser, a junior, was named 2nd Team All-American.

Big Red had two athletes named to the 4th Team All-American team, as juniors Tyler Triscari and Steven Michaud were honored by NISCA.

The other other Connecticut water polo athletes honored was senior Ellison Taylor, who plays water polo for Choate Rosemary Hall School and he was honorable mention.

The National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association has yet to name swimmers to its All-American team.
