Follow the chocolate trail with JCC Greenwich

JCC Greenwich is presenting a special “staycation” from Greenwich to an organic chocolate factory in Red Hook, Brooklyn on Sunday, June 9, from 1 to 5:30 p.m.

The trip will include a “tour guide” — Rabbi Deborah Prinz, the author of On the Chocolate Trail: A Delicious Adventure Connecting Jews, Religions, History, Travel, Rituals and Recipes to the Magic of Cacao, who will accompany her talk with visuals that will play on the bus screens.

Follow the chocolate trail on this trip to Brooklyn, home of the kosher/organic Cacao Prieto Distillery and Chocolate Factory. En route, savor the remarkable story of Jews and chocolate as told by Ms. Prinz, take a guided tour, sample chocolatey treats and stock up at the Cacao Prieto store.

The cost of the trip is $40. Space is limited and registration is required. For more information, visit or call 203-552-1818.
