gl-chamber-players-5-30Strike up the band. It’s time for the Chamber Players of the Greenwich Symphony’s annual benefit concert, to be held this Sunday, June 9 at 5 p.m. at the Round Hill Community Church.

The ticket price is $85 and includes, after the concert, wine and champagne and a buffet of hors d’oeuvres created by board members.

The concert program will include a selection of short pieces by Dvorák, Fauré, Saint-Saëns, Bizet, Uccellini, and Pierné, some of which are a “taste” of the next season’s concerts.

Seven regular Chamber Players will be performing. Tanya Witek, flutist, will join the ensemble as guest artist. The Chamber Players are the principals of the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra. They give four pairs of concerts each season. Under separate management and board, the Chamber Players raises its own funds.

Tickets may be purchased at the door. Check or cash only.
