Benefit Spaghetti Dinner aims to suit up veterans on Saturday

Neck TieIt’s time to suit up — for veterans. The Save-A-Suit Foundation will host a Benefit Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, June 8 at the Byram Veterans Association from 6 to 9 p.m.

For a $25 donation, the event will not only include dinner, but an open bar and the army musical act, 102nd Army Brass Quintet Pack. There will also be several raffle prizes and giveaways.

The proceeds from the event will benefit the Save-A-Suit Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, in their quest to support the nation’s veterans by providing them with professional attire.

This September, Save-A-Suit will distribute more than $1,000,000 of suits and professional attire to veterans in need at Be A Hero-Hire, a hero veteran’s career expo. The organization will suit-up more than 2,000 veterans to help them make a great first impression for their onsite interviews.

Save-A-Suit wants the nation’s unemployed veterans to walk into an interview with an advantage. The organization will be distributing free suits, shirts, ties and more to both male and female veterans.

Tickets to the benefit dinner can be purchased at the Byram Veterans Association Club House. Tickets are limited to 100 participants. The Byram Veterans Association is located at 300 Delavan Avenue. You may also call 203-531-9846 to reserve seats. Community involvement is vital for Save-A-Suit’s success.
