Greenwich High School students enjoy a game of Frisbee to benefit the YWCA’s Ynet initiative. This year’s tournament is set for June 2.

Toss a Frisbee for a good cause with fellow residents on June 2 when YNet presents the fifth annual Ultimate Frisbee Tournament at Central Middle School starting at 11:30 a.m.

YNet is a group of dedicated Greenwich High School students who partner with YWCA Greenwich to prevent teen dating violence and promote healthy relationships by educating peers and the greater Greenwich community. The 2012 tournament was called a great success with 17 teams and more than 150 people playing for prizes.

Along with good competition, entrants on June 2 are promied good food, good DJ music and souvenirs while knowing that the money raised will help YNet to continue to educate the Greenwich community about the trauma of teen dating violence. The tournament is ultimate fun for a serious cause. Tournament registration forms are available on the YWCA Greenwich website at Ywcagreenwich.org.
