Ham Ave. Spring-a-Palooza set

Spring has most definitely sprung and the Hamilton Avenue School community is ready to celebrate.

The second annual Spring-a-palooza Festival will be held Saturday, June 1, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the grounds of Hamilton Avenue School at 184 Hamilton Avenue.

There will be fun and food for the whole family at the Spring-a-Palooza. Activities include old-fashioned carnival game favorites, bouncy castle, obstacle course, crafts and even a dunk tank. There are options for both younger and older children.

There will be a raffle of impressive gift baskets. Each gift basket is filled with themed prizes including goodies focused on beauty, automotive care, pet care, gardening, cooking, beach activities, arts and crafts, school supplies, movie night, family games, family reading time and more. Additionally, a silent auction will feature “priceless” activities including always popular opportunities to have fun experiences with some favorite teachers. Spring-a-Palooza will also offer favorite carnival foods and treats, including the ever-popular “pizza fritta,” so attendees are being advised to come hungry.

The event will help raise funds for Hamilton Avenue School programs such as cultural enrichment activities and field trips. The entire community is invited and people are being urged to bring their friends and families to it.
