Marking their sacrifices

p1-Veterans-Day-5-30Greenwich was full of patriotic spirit as several events were held throughout town to pay tribute to American veterans on Memorial Day. Parades were held in Byram, Glenville and Old Greenwich, where veterans got a ride in a car donated for the event from the classic collection of Malcolm Pray. And in between the parades and the fun, the town also took the time to mark the veterans who paid the ultimate sacrifice with a special ceremony at Indian Harbor Yacht Club, including the laying of a memorial wreath.
