Nature paintings on display

The Gertrude White Gallery has premiered an exhibit of recent paintings by nature-inspired contemporary artist Steven Miller and there’s still time left to see it.

The New York City-based Mr. Miller works in oils on canvas in combination with images inspired by forces of nature. He works in a series of paintings, usually working on three to four at a time.

“These works still hold a strong fascination for me and continue to provide me with boundless inspiration,” Mr. Miller said. “The work I produce is all about color, form and simplicity.”

Mr. Miller has exhibited his work across the United States from New York to Los Angeles, and in Europe from London to Cologne. He is a Vinal Haven Fellow, a Rubenstein Scholar, and a Parsons School of Design Scholar. His work has been featured on television in Sex in the City and Frasier. Mr. Miller’s work is also in many private and public collections in the United States, Europe and Asia.
