Looking to win a dream vacation? You may need to pay closer attention to William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance, which recently awarded town residents Lou Caravella and Roseann Sarica Benedict with a trip to the Bahamas.

Mr. Caravella and Ms. Benedict are the newest recipients of the company’s annual drawing for a trip to the Bahamas. Mr. Caravella won by attending a public open house hosted by Ms. Benedict, an agent in William Raveis’ Greenwich office.

“I didn’t even believe it when Roseann called to tell me I had won a trip to the Bahamas,” Mr. Caravella said. “I’m opting to take the cash prize and I’m going to use it as an opportunity to take my wife to her home country — England. We made plans to go two years ago, but unfortunately my wife became ill so we were unable to. I’m so excited to be able to bring her now.”

Customers become eligible for the trip by filling out an entry form at any Raveis open house throughout the year. A longtime contest, it’s hosted by William Raveis Real Estate as an incentive for buyers and sellers, as well as a marketing tool for agents.

“I actually found out that I won on my husband’s birthday, so I gave him the trip as a birthday present,” Ms. Benedict said. “His office voted me ‘Wife of the Year.’ We’re going to opt for the cash prize and take a family fishing trip to Alaska. We’re all so excited.”

Ms. Benedict has been with William Raveis for seven years and is a part of The Magyar Team, a top producing team within the company since 2006.

“This contest is a thank you to the communities we serve for choosing our services,” said William Raveis, chairman and CEO of William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance. “Congratulations to Lou and Roseann on the win and I wish them the best in their travels.”

The winners may opt for the trip or its cash equivalent. The drawing for this year’s trip was held on March 4 in Shelton.
