Greenwich kids got a chance to see firsthand what it’s like to serve and protect the town as the Greenwich Police Department held its annual Police Day this past Saturday. Department equipment and vehicles were on display and residents of all ages got to take a tour of the public safety complex and learn about what being a Greenwich cop is all about. The popular family event featured everything from free hot dogs and a bouncy castle to demonstrations from the K-9 unit and special response teams. Above, Sebastian Gonzalez got a chance to see what it’s like to be on a police ATV with the help of Chief of Police James Heavey. More images will be available Friday at Greenwich-post.com.
