Complaints about Whitby are unfounded

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor

As a resident of the Greenwich highway known as Orchard Street (aka the OrchardBahn), I had to laugh out loud when I read the letter to the editor last week from residents of Lake Avenue complaining about a tennis court cover being put up at Whitby School.

Whitby is a top-notch school that cares only for its children. I wish every school in town were half as good as Whitby and I hope Whitby continues to improve its campus.

The neighbors should embrace this model neighbor, not complain endlessly that their acres of land might be somehow impacted, clearly in only a nominal (if nonexistent) way.

What is next, Lake Avenue? Will you complain the ducks flying over your mansions are too loud?
