Town restaurants Terra and Mediterraneo, both located on Greenwich Avenue, are ready to show the community a little TLC this month, supporting the United Way by hosting a “Week of Caring.”

From Monday, May 13, to Sunday, May 19 a portion of the restaurants’ proceeds for the week will benefit the work of the non-profit charity.

Ramze Zakka, owner of both Terra and Mediterraneo has hosted this Week of Caring for the past eight years, raising $14,000 for the Greenwich United Way.

“We are grateful for the continued partnership with Mr. Zakka and his restaurants’ staff in this special fundraising effort,” said Greenwich United Way Director of Development Tom Gabriel. “Diners patronizing Terra and Mediterraneo during this Week of Caring will be supporting the United Way and all the health and human services it helps to strengthen, as well as enjoying a great meal at two of our town’s top restaurants at the same time.”
