Annual Ride for Greenwich returns on Mother’s Day

The Annual Ride for Greenwich will begin its second decade on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, moving to Main Street with the support of the OGRCC, Old Greenwich Association, Friends of Greenwich Point, Riverside Association, Old Greenwich Merchants Association and staging at Old Greenwich School.

To celebrate National Bike Month and get ready for a long season of hassle-free, healthy travel, the family friendly ride offers a 6.5 mile Beach Loop and a one and one-half mile Beginner Boogie, along with bike and helmet checks and safe cycling instruction.

Upper Crust bagels and coffee, fruit and water will be available for all participants and volunteers.

Registration forms are available at local bike shops, from all participating sponsors and online at greenwichsafecycling.org and Myogrcc.org.
