Greenwich High girls lax gets better of McMahon, wins 21-6

The Greenwich High School girls lacrosse team scored early and often in its 21-6 victory over Brien McMahon High School yesterday afternoon at Jack Casagrande Field.

The Lady Cardinals, who finished with 41 shots on goal, were led by Carolyn Paletta, who finished with four goals and four assists. Teammates Maddy Graves, Emma Chrstie and Sophie Waine each finished with a hat trick, however Waine and Christie each added an assist.

Meghan Collins finished with two goals, while the group of Anne Dunster, Sarah Rider, Emily Johnson, Jenny Goggin, and Maggie Sweeney each finished with one goal. Johnson, Waine, Christie and Dunster were also each credited with one assist on the day.
