Local celebrities lead benefit

The Arch Street Teen Center has a dynamic duo lined up for its 2013 Carnaval benefit this month, which will be hosted by Rob Burnett, president and CEO of Worldwide Pants Incorporated, and Gary Dell’Abate, (better known as Bababooey) longtime producer of The Howard Stern Show.

The pair are teaming up for the first time to raise funds for Arch Street — the nation’s longest-running and privately-funded teen center.

“We are thrilled that Rob and Gary have extended their talent as co-hosts for this year’s benefit,” said Kyle Silver, executive director of Arch Street. “Both have hosted the Center’s prior benefits, but this is the first time they’re working together for what promises to be an exciting event.”

Benefit co-chairs include Adriana Gabaldon, Lili O’Malley, Angela Riera and Jodi Tannenbaum.

The benefit takes place Friday, May 10 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Teen Center. The Carnaval-themed event will feature festive food and cocktails provided by OnTheMarc Catering Company, Latin music and dancing by certified Zumba instructor Eddie Calle and his spirited dancers and a live auction with one-of-a-kind items.

Ticket prices start at $150 and can be purchased at ArchStreet.org.
