Eagle Hill named ‘School of Excellence’

Few qualified licensed private education schools in the state are selected as Schools of Excellence by the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) — and Eagle Hill School is  one of them.

Selection as a NASET School of Excellence is the highest level of recognition a private special education school can achieve through their professional association. This honor is presented to private special education schools that meet rigorous professional criteria and have demonstrated truly exceptional dedication, commitment and achievement in the field of special education.

Schools achieving the required criteria receive a certificate of merit to proudly display throughout their school. Eagle Hill School will also be featured as a NASET School of Excellence on their website at naset.org.

Dr. Marjorie E. Castro, head of school at Eagle Hill, explained the value of this recognition: “We are very proud to be recognized once again as a School of Excellence by NASET. We are pleased that a professional organization of this caliber understands the dedication, commitment and professional expertise devoted to students by our exceptional faculty and administrative team at Eagle Hill School. This recognition acknowledges the rigorous standards we embrace for meeting the needs of our students.”
