Residents to perform at Newtown tribute

This Saturday, May 4, help pay tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy by attending “Healing Newtown,” led by Allegra Dance Studio, where 15-year-old Greenwich resident Pippa Leigh will perform for the families of Newtown.

Pippa will be singing Sandy Hook Tribute, an original song written by the teen in December in the memory of the 26 lives that were lost during the Dec. 14 massacre in Newtown.

The concert will also feature Allegra’s Ballet Elite Company, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Modern Companies, which range in age from eight to 22-years-old.

Allegra Dance Studio is located in Greenwich and owned and directed by Claudia DeVita and Carrie Page. It is a nonprofit dance studio that gives back to the community.

Healing Newtown will take place at HealingNewtown Arts Space, 5 Queen Street, Newtown. All are invited to attend.
