Limited Greenwich Town Party tickets still available

General admission tickets for the Greenwich Town Party (GTP) sold out in mere minutes, but a limited number of “Fair Share” tickets are still available to the May 25 event at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park allowing people to not only attend, but raise money to help the festivities.

Fair Share tickets are priced at $400/per person and include admission, a part-donation and a GTP Merchandise Gift Package. Fair Share tickets are available to Greenwich residents at and can be purchased with the password/token is gtp2013.

Greenwich-affiliated businesses interested in purchasing Fair Share tickets can visit the GTP Desk at Greenwich Town Hall, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while ticket supplies last.

“The Fair Share and sponsorship tickets for the Greenwich Town Party constitute only 10% of the total tickets sold for the event and there are only a limited number of such tickets remaining,” said event organizers. “Those who purchase these tickets not only help to support the Greenwich Town Party, but also have one of the most solid means left to secure admission to attend this year.”

Offered “fair & square,” the Fair Share ticket priced at $400 each is representative of the cost to produce the Greenwich Town Party. The importance of supporting Fair Share is equal to the concept of sponsorship donations that makes General Admission tickets available for so many. While “Sponsorship Ticket Packages” help organizers offer general admission tickets at an affordable price, Fair Share tickets were introduced this year to give people an opportunity to secure entry to the event while simultaneously “throwing something in the pot” to help cover the actual event costs.

Sponsored by the Greenwich Town Party, Inc., a non-profit organization qualifying as a public charity under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the event is a volunteer-supported community event. The Greenwich Town Party was created to bring the people of the Town of Greenwich together to organize and plan a town-wide event and to celebrate their community pride and mutual generosity.

Ticket sales are limited to Greenwich residents and business owners or employees, however non-Greenwich residents may attend as guests. A valid state or federal issued photo ID with a Greenwich address, i.e. a Connecticut Driver’s License or ID Card, is required to purchase or pick-up tickets or proof of Greenwich business affiliation.
