Greenwich High softball goes orange to strike out Cancer [Slideshow]

Monday’s Greenwich High School softball game against Brien McMahon had a different look to it. As part of the ‘Strike Out Cancer’ event, the Lady Cards traded in their red and white jerseys for orange, Nicole Graham’s favorite color. Graham, a three-sport athlete at Greenwich High, was diagnosed with leukemia back in September and has made an incredible progress in her recovery. During Monday’s game, which Greenwich High won 4-0, every softball player and coach for GHS all wore the orange jersey with the name ‘Nicole’ on the back, above the number. Greenwich Post photographer John Ferris Robben was at the game at McMahon and his photos are in the slideshow above.
