Upcoming Art Saturday workshop to focus on visual illusions

The next Art Saturday workshop for youngsters in grades three to five will be held on April 27 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Led by professional artists Gail and Ken Resen, whose works are currently on display in the Greenwich Arts Council’s (GAC) Bendheim Gallery, the focus of the workshop will be visual illusions. After a tour and discussion of the gallery exhibition the participants will work with the artists to create their own drawings and paintings.

Art Saturday workshops are free and art materials are provided. Pre-registration is required and space is limited so that all participating students can have an opportunity to work with the artists.

Registrations may be made by e-mail to Beth Bellemore at [email protected] Workshops take place at GAC, 299 Greenwich Avenue, second floor. For more information call 203-862-6750.

The Bendheim Gallery is open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
