Senior Center implements Book Club

BooksEstablished by popular demand, the Senior Center has launched a new Book Club program.

Last month, an interest sign-up sheet was available to individuals interested in participating in a new Senior Center Book Club and, due to the overwhelming response, the center has implemented a brand new Book Club program beginning on Friday, April 26 at 2 p.m.

The program will be led by well-known local Book Club facilitator Susan Boyar. She has chosen the popular paperback novel State of Wonder by author Ann Patchett. The novel contains numerous interesting topics for discussion and makes for a fascinating read. It is affordable in paperback and readily available at the Greenwich Library.

All individuals interested in the program must obtain and read the book before the April 26 session with Ms. Boyar, at which time the novel will be discussed at length.

This program is free of charge to Greenwich seniors ages 55 and up. Call Senior Center Program Coordinator Suzanne Testani at 203-862-6720 for more details.
