Greenwich softball gets back to winning ways with 13-1 victory over Wilton

After falling to St. Joseph High School on Wednesday, the Greenwich High School softball team took its frustrations out on Wilton High School earlier today, beating the Warriors 13-1.

Alison Kach was dominating, both offensively and defensively for the Cards. On the mound she netted nine strikeouts and only allowed three walks and one hit, while at the plate she went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs batted in.

Also having stellar days at the plate were Rebecca Decarlo and Erin Ferguson. Ferguson finished the day going 3-for-4 with three RBIs, while Decarlo also went 3-for-4 but added five RBIs.

Wilton netted its only run in the fifth inning. Greenwich broke through in the fourth inning, netting eight runs to put the game out of reach.
