Sacred Heart lacrosse falls to RCDS in heartbreaker 10-9, smash Masters 11-0

In a hard-fought battle with Rye Country Day School yesterday afternoon, the Convent of the Sacred Heart lacrosse team were defeated 10-9.

Taylor Ryan led the way for the Tigers, tallying a team-high four goals. Allie Kenny and Colleen O’Neill each finished with two goals and one assist, while Catherine Hayden added one goal and one assist. In net, Maddie Pillari finished with nine saves.

On Tuesday, Sacred Heart had a better outcome against Masters School, taking a 9-0 lead into the half and winning 11-0.

Ryan led the way with a game-high three goals, while Hayden added two goals. Kenny added one goal and one assist, while Kate Larkin, Devon Hoffman, O’Neill, Katie Hill and Meg Gerli each added one goal.

The Tigers will be back in action Wednesday when they travel up to New Haven and battle Hopkins School at 4 p.m.
