All next month: Jewelry to the Avenue

Throughout the month of May, all of Greenwich Avenue is displaying artwork for the annual Art to the Avenue event and Cavalier Galleries will participate in a unique way by offering a special exhibition and sale of fine jewelry.

From May 1 to 6, Cavalier Galleries welcomes J.S Fearnley to Greenwich Avenue for a special showing of their fine and estate jewelry. An opening reception will be held 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, coinciding with the opening of Art to the Avenue.

J.S. Fearnley Jewelry in Atlanta, Ga. has been specializing in fine jewelry since 1986.

On view will be distinctive pieces from some of the world’s best jewelry houses including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Buccellati. Vintage pieces from the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian periods will be displayed alongside more modern jewelry from the Art Deco, Retro and late 20th Century periods.

Pieces will include a platinum and diamond bracelet by Van Cleef & Arpels, France, featuring approximately 44 carats of round diamonds, 18 Karat Gold, coral and diamond pendant-earclips by Buccellati and a platinum, pink sapphire and diamond ring, set with an oval pink sapphire weighing 6.56 karats, flanked by old table-cut triangular-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 3.30 karats, size 6 1/2, and more.
